In the Film “Latcho Drom, it tells a story about a group of gypsies traveling from South Asia into the Middle East than finally to Europe. The main focus of the film was demonstrated; when the gypsies would travel they would take in other styles of music from the different places/ cultures they visited. In the Film I saw three main parts, the gypsies having a celebration under the full moon, celebration with a couple in Egypt, and than a takht ensemble.
In the scene where the gypsies are dancing under the full moon, they were playing a mini cymbal, which seemed too made out of gold and made a chime bell sound. Also the instruments that I saw the gypsies playing were the UD, which consisted of five strings and the gypsies’ woman wore bracelets which produced a sharp sound. In the scene there was a lot of dancing but mostly by woman. In the celebration in Egypt, it was different from the first scene in the aspect that it was mostly performed indoors. The main focus in this scene was the couple dancing which in the background had the violin, wooden clappers, drums, and people clapping accompanying them. And finally in the last scene with the takht ensemble, the instruments that were featured were the Ud, Quanum, Nay, Riaq, drum, violin and clarinet.
After watching this film, it became more obvious how influential traveling is to music. By traveling to different areas, and not having to cross over large bodies of water, the gypsies were able to pick up new and different styles of music that they would incorporate into their own music.

Your writing is much better in this assignment. It is much easier for a reader to understand the ideas you are trying to get across. You still have to clean up the grammar, but overall it is much improved.
